New Zealand is the fifth-largest wholly island nation on earth. Consisting of two main islands – imaginatively named North Island and South Island and many smaller ones in the South Pacific Ocean. Wellington is the capital of New Zealand.

The education system in New Zealand:

New Zealand’s education system focuses on teaching students to solve problems, absorb, analyze and apply information, to work with others to create and innovate.

The system supports debate, free-thinking, and flexibility, and our teachers encourage students to be confident, connected, and actively involved, lifelong learners. It is a country full of opportunities for unique experiences in education as well as lifestyle. International students have always been welcomed to this country for advanced education.

Once the student starts the application process, the university’s international department is responsible for solving all, the students’ issues and assisting in the process.

While the student is studying in New Zealand, The allocated work hours for a student is 20 hours part-time in a week and full time in scheduled breaks.

After finishing, the students are eligible for a post-study work visa with a duration of one year. Once the job starts, the visa can be renewed for multiple years.

There are two types of work visas specifically for students who have completed their studies in New Zealand:

 The Post-study work visa (open). This gives you up to 12 months to find a job that is relevant to your studies

The Post-study work visa (employer assisted). This option lets you work in a specific job, which must be relevant to your studies, for two more years. Check out who is eligible for a Post-study work visa.
